What counts as "active"?
An employee is considered active when they work a shift or sign a document. Employees who are not active are not counted towards your bill and can use all other features. New hires are applicants who accept a job offer and are added to your employee list.
Your first 15 are free
The first 15 active employees or new hires each month are completely free. This lets you use August during your off-season or for small events without worrying about usage fees.
