Can crew members clock in from job sites?
Yes. You can turn on mobile clock in for specific employees so they clock in from the August Mobile app, and crew leads with manager access can clock their crew in and out from their phone.
Does August track GPS location when crews clock in?
No. August doesn't use GPS or geofencing. You choose which employees can clock in from their phones, and every punch edit is attributed to the admin who made it.
Can we bring back last year's crew without redoing all their paperwork?
Yes. Rehire returning employees individually or in bulk and automatically send a rehire onboarding packet with just the documents you choose.
Do we pay for August in the winter?
Your $400 annual platform fee includes year-round access. Usage fees only apply to active employees and August ATS hires above the 15 included each month, so a small winter or snow removal crew often costs nothing extra.
