How are team group chats created?
Automatically. Every team in August gets its own group chat in the August Mobile app, and employees are added or removed as their team assignments change. You can also make a team chat one-way so only managers can post.
Can I text employees who don't have the app?
Yes. SMS text broadcasts reach any employee with a phone number, whether or not they've downloaded the app. You can filter recipients by team, or text applicants by job listing and hiring stage.
How many text messages are included?
Your annual platform fee includes 15,000 SMS credits. If you need more, you can buy additional packs of 10,000 credits from your billing settings.
Can employees message each other directly?
You decide. Direct messages between employees can be turned on or off for your organization, and managers can always message employees directly.
